TOGSE 2024 REVIEW

TOGSE 2026

Oil and gas remain the dominant sources of energy worldwide. Nevertheless, the environmental impact of exploration, production, transportation, refining, and petrochemical activities has become an issue of growing global concern. As a result, greater emphasis is now being placed on optimizing conventional resource utilization while advancing sustainable energy pathways that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, and strengthen waste and water management practices. In this context, TOGSE 2026 will focus on the integration of conventional and sustainable energy approaches, the opportunities arising from innovation and technological development, and the challenges associated with meeting present and future energy needs in a more sustainable and resilient manner.

OBJECTIVE

The Technology of Oil, Gas and Sustainable Energy Conference and Exhibition (TOGSE 2026) aims to provide a high-level scientific and technical platform that brings together local and international institutions, companies, researchers, and experts to exchange knowledge, research findings, and practical experience across the full energy value chain. The conference seeks to strengthen the link between scientific research and industrial application, promote integration between oil, gas, sustainable energy, and digitalization, and address current and emerging challenges in exploration and production, transportation and processing, refining and petrochemicals, environment and climate, sustainable energy systems, and advanced digital technologies. It also aims to enhance the practical relevance of scientific contributions by encouraging applicable solutions, innovation, and technical approaches that respond to the real needs of the energy sector in Libya, while supporting efficient resource utilization, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving waste and water management, and contributing to a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
